There is a tidal wave of change going on right now on the internet and it will impact your network marketing business in a huge way if you understand it and utilize it to put the networking or socializing part back in your business. No longer is internet marketing too expensive or ineffective for the average person. Web 2.0 also known as Social Marketing can make a huge difference in how you grow your downline. With less stress and have consistent, committed customers that create that desired residual income.

This is the dream of all network marketers - to develop that residual income that you can retire with. Then spend your time traveling to Europe or the Caribbean while the money continues to come in every month.

Network Marketing industry wide statistics show that most networkers fall short of their goals and the vast majority (over 90%) don't even earn more than $100 per check. Not hardly enough to retire on or travel the world. When things don't work out like you expect them to you try another company that offers a superior compensation plan or the latest juice drink of the month.

Have you fallen into the trap of of cold calling business opportunity leads? That can be such a huge money drain, after spending hours and hours calling so called prospects, with no signups, just lots of hangups. Somebody is making money when you are buying leads, but it's probably not you.

In order to make money in any business you need customers, without them you don't have a business - just a hobby. You need prospects - people to sell your products to , people who want to join your business opportunity. Without prospects or leads you are dead in the water, and so is your business.

Have you done all the recruiting stuff your upline suggests, cold calling, the 3foot rule, approaching friends, neighbors and family, handing out cds, dvds or flyers, hotel meetings etc? Did you have the success you wanted? If not then you need a new approach.

Get the rewards you want, earn the big bucks, just learn how to position yourself in front of a ready market.

Can you imagine the success you can have if you are selling hot dogs at a NFL football game vs trying to sell them on a residential street corner? Getting in front of the starving crowd can do wonders for you network marketing business and help you achieve the money/success goals you want.

Trying to force someone to buy what you have to sell ( your business opportunity) when they aren't hungry will doom you to failure. Without the desire or want for what you are offering you will be unable to bring new people into your business. They need the fire inside, the commitment to succeed or they will drop off and never help build your business. To build your downline crazy fast and stable with committed business builders you need to investigate social marketing to attract prospects to you.
