There are too many home based business offers, so how do I choose what's right for me? This article is about the 'Fluff'! They seem like perfect offers and the compensation looks good.

They have big offices and have been in business for a long time. Isn't that good? This company sells competitive products that can be very difficult to sell, not impossible, but difficult.

Some of these companies usually make their money from the distributor, and some from selling the products. They have you on their monthly auto ship so this is a good part of their income.

The compensation plans for these companies are not very good, usually paying the distributor a few % up to 25%. The levels or matrixes are hard to balance out, but their top sponsor will train you on how to make it work effectively, and it is never as easy as it is taught.

They are a many different companies offering the same thing, with a new twist. Some of these companies above actually have a good product, but as mentioned, there are other things that are not worth getting involved. So, how do you choose a business that you can profit from and be proud of?

Here is a good start. Your first thing is you know you want to make good money and do so in an ethical way. You want to be honest and feel good about what you are offering. You do not want to harm anyone. You need to know the 'whole story' of what the company can offer you.

If the commission or the profit is not at least 75% when you make a sale, don't bother with it. If it is less than that, you are doing all the work and the company is profiting on your hard work.

If you have to have thousands of people in your group before you make any decent money, then don't sign up since it is rare that people ever get that amount of people, even through their teams efforts. Now some people can do this, but it is not often.

If they tell you to contact your friends and family, then run like crazy. If they have minimum amount of training, then most likely the company is more interested in selling you their products, than training you how to have a real business.

Here's a clue. If you have not got your money back in a few sales, including your expenses such as advertising, then something is wrong. And if the owners are not available for when you have a question, something is REALLY wrong. You should be able to talk to them and get their help. If they are not around, be careful with this company.

There are plenty of new companies and everyone has to start somewhere, but be careful they are of good foundation. If they are not and you 'feel' it, do get involved. It's that simple. You'd be better off gambling away your money because at least you would have fun.

This is a only a guideline to follow when reviewing any company or an internet company. Use good judgment and your intuition on top of these guidelines, and you will most likely make a good choice since there are good companies to pick from if you look hard enough.
