In my first article, I shared why you must create information products instead of books sold in a bookstore. Since this is new to many business owners, info products appear to be an extraordinary way to make money online. Today, I want to give you the most amazing tips for creating information products.

Tip 1: Think of the trade your customers are making.

Your customer is spending his hard-earned money on your information product. Make it worth his while! Wouldn't you trade, say, $47 for information that would help you make $4700 a day? Of course, you would that's a great deal!

They willingly pay $47 to learn how to do something quickly and easily. On the other hand, they are unlikely to pay $47 for your old baby pictures or an article on darning their socks. See the difference? By finding out what they want, you are in a better position to offer them a great trade for their money!

Tip 2: Clearly Explain the Benefits of Your Product

Think about what your customers really want, and how your product meets those needs. Include one of these "hooks" in your information product by filling in the blank to the following sentence: My product will help you to:

earn more money from home

save their money

use their time wisely

save people pain (physical, emotional or financial)?

If you can include one or more of these angles in an information product, you will have a real winner on your hands!

Tip 3: Break your long ebook into parts.

Break your current info products into smaller sections, then sell them all together. Sound crazy? It's not! Your client is spending $47 - would he rather get one e-book, or a series of three e-books? Give him three books, and he will feel as though he got more bang for his buck. What a great value!

Tip 4: Include Bonus Material to Make the Package More Attractive

Satisfy the appetite of the most curious client by offering them more. Search out a handful of inexpensive informational products to include as bonuses. Now your client is paying $47 for three e-books, plus he's getting $500 in free bonus material. All he needs to do is provide you with an email address so you can deliver the bonus material - and you benefit from one more contact to add to your subscription list!

Tip 5: Sell to Existing Clients First

Many online business owners spend countless hours pursuing new clients. Meanwhile, existing clients may fall by the wayside. Don't let this happen to you! You already have a loyal client base; now, it's time to reconnect with them.

Look carefully at your niche. Ask your customers what they want, then find a way to provide it. You will become an expert in your field if you simply listen to what they are asking for, and then create informational products that meet your client's needs. It's incredible -- and it really works!
