You'll want to be making at least 75% of the commission on each sale. You don't want the person above you making all the money and your doing all of the work.
If you have to have hundreds or thousands of people joining your business to make any money, don't bother. These are matrix and mlm programs. Reaching those goals are impossible for most.
Your going to want to be able to break even or get into profit with your first 3 sales. This is one of the most important things so you get off to a good start.
If you have to go out and find people to come into your home for a sales presentation, thats crazy. I can't believe people still get suckered into this type of mlm.
Also if your getting a sales pitch 2-3 times a day with hardly any training, the company is more interested in selling you than training you on how to make money long term.
Before you do business with anyone, make sure you can talk to the owners and have your questions answered. Find out if they are doing the training themselves and sit in on one of the training sessions.
Stay away from companies that are selling products like lotions, potions, pills, miracle juices or anything like this. If I want these types of products I would go to GNC, CVS, Walgreens, Nordstroms, etc.
If a company is brand new or it's in pre-launch you'll probably be wasting your money. Most of the time these companies don't go anywhere.
Also stay away from the multiple streams of income pitch. You only need to be marketing one thing at a time when your first starting out.
Stay away from the internet guru. Most of them are jumping from program to program claiming they are experts. They join many new programs and sucker as many as they can into them.
If a company doesn't teach the skills of internet marketing a few times a week and say they will promote your website for you, you'll fail. Don't rely on anyone but yourself to drive traffic to your website.
All your training should be done live over the internet. Successful companies offer this Monday thru Thursday and keep up to date on what has changed and what is working.
