If you need to protect your car, truck, RV, or boat from things like hail, rain, snow, wind, and UV rays, you need to keep it in a garage. But what if you don't have a garage on your land? The easiest solution is metal garages.
It's simple enough to build one of these garages used a prefabricated garage kit, which is customizable. You shouldn't have a problem finding them, since they are widely available online and at hardware stores.
If you need a garage for your main truck or car, a prefabricated kit will do the trick. It's also a great option if you need a shed on your property for storing things like lawn tools.
These metal garages go up faster than a traditionally built garage, and they offer a good amount of protection for a lot less money (but be sure you're not breaking any building codes before you put one up!).
They are available without any center support beams, giving you the maneuverability you need in your garage. You can get them as completely enclosed buildings that can stand up to all but the very strongest storms, or made of galvanized steel pipe support covered with vinyl or galvanized steel roofing.
Metal garages also make good storage units for the back part of your property. You can use them for hay storage, tractors, bikes, ATV's, outdoor toys, snow supplies (shovels, toboggans, etc.), and more.
Since these structures are available in so many different sizes, the possibilities are just about endless. You could use a motorcycle shed for storing things like kids bicycles or plastic climbing toys.
A big metal garage made for parking an RV may work just as well as a place to store hay or straw. A car garage could become storage for that vintage vehicle you've been thinking about refurbishing and giving an overhaul one of these days.
If you don't have the time or interest to order and assemble your own prefabricated garage kit, you can look for local services that specialize in building them.
Giving someone else the responsibility of constructing your metal garages can be worth every penny. Even though it's a pretty simple process, not everyone has the time or the inclination to do this kind of installation.
