A squeeze page is a separate and special page to add an opt-in form and collect subscribers. So, a squeeze page is very important and should be very well designed to collect more subscribers and increase your sales.

Here are few tips you need to know while creating a squeeze page.

1. Test Your Headlines: Alter the headlines every few days and monitor the increase or decrease in number of subscribers and see which one proves the best. You can use Google optimizer which automatically tests your headlines by displaying different headlines whenever the squeeze page is refreshed.

Keep your pages short and snappy as visitors may not prefer to scroll down the page and read the information.

2. Use basic squeeze page: Few people prefer to use fancy looking pages but from my tests I found that basic squeeze pages perform much better than fancy pages. So, keep your page simple and informative.

3. Put image of your gift: Try to place an image of your gift as a nice image can help you make your offer more attractive. Do not use a big image as it may look blurred and also it slows the loading time of the page.

4. Use bullet points: Using bullet points, describe in brief about what your gift contains and what they get out of it.

5. Video: You can include a video to welcome the visitor and guide him how to sign up for your newsletter or gift. This can easily increase your opt-in rate by 10%

6. Testimonials: Include one or two testimonials that you received from existing subscribers. You can also send follow up email to your subscribers asking them to write a testimonials.
