Discover how to make a web page using free website development tools. Websites are considered virtual real estate. If there monetized, or making you money you could understand why!
Today there is so much more available online for free in terms of learning lease skills and the processes involved than there was even 3-4 years ago. You can also skip some more learning curves, and just use free easy designer websites but then that's not really your web page because you don't own it.
The domain, the hosting, the site everything belongs to them. Depending on what you want to do with your web page or website, and how much time or interest you have to invest.
I can help you in either case as I started with a free build your own web page design site. Then as my interest and desires changed I began to ask myself, how can I create free professional websites that I own.
Ok so for most beginners I will say please don't get alarmed or overwhelmed with any of the words you have never heard, used, or understood because its the same learning any new skill sets or processes right? And besides there's step by step videos available on most all this stuff for free if you know where to look, and what to ask for so here goes.
To Learn How to Make A Web Page - Using Free Website Development Tools
You will obviously need more than just this article, like videos and e-books which I have at my site all for free, but listed below are some of the tools and other things you need to put up your own web pages.
* HTML editor - For designing your web page. A good free one and easy to learn is Kompozer Or Coffee Cup HTML editor.
* FTP client - Stands for file transfer protocol. Don't worry about the technical words, you need one and a good free one is File Zilla or again Coffee Cup FTP.
* Image software - To re-size the images for your web page. There are several free ones out there, I use Irfanview for my image re-sizer and I like it a lot!
* Domain name - Remember some free ones are available but just like your web page rather you design it or not, You want to own it and there's no getting around this. Pay the $5-10 a year its worth it. GoDaddy is where I buy mine.
* Hosting - Once you have a web page you like and a domain name (www.yourname.com) you need to be able to host your virtual real estate on the (world wide web) this one you can find for free, but I don't as I am investing in myself and my future. Just type in Free hosting and you will find a lot.
You can always change your hosting company!
I hope this has been of some help, Just remember we all have to start somewhere, and the keyword here is ACTION!
