Learning web design just might be the answer to this dying economy. Photoshop is the base program that starts it all. Learning Photoshop just for improving your dull photos is really all you need to start. I started that way myself then i became very interested in how you put something on the web. The language the computer or Server uses to read the web page for visual is called HTML.
It is rather simple to learn HTML and once you have that under your belt along with Photoshop you can actually start making web pages in a matter of hours. I think the greatest thing about learning web design is you have the ability to reach a lot of people. If you have a message to share, the web can bring the whole world at your fingertips. That is my philosophy. Create and share. It's just that simple.
There is one more program that makes it possible to upload your work to the web. The program is called Dreamweaver. Once you have constructed your site, Dreamweaver will allow you the upload the site for the world to see using a FTP (file transfer protocol). So if you want to change a picture or a sentence, using Dreamweaver it can happen in less than a few seconds.
I am glad technology has come so far. It is not all bad and you can still help other people using the same equipment that others use to destroy. You instead can create and share your knowledge with others to help this world survive. It is a great feeling to help people and web design is one median that makes it easy to reach literally a billion people all at once. Help and yes you could make money just doing what is right. God rewards when he deems you ready.
