I never thought that I had much in common with Albert Einstein, but I have: both he and I could not read properly until we were ten years old. Looking back over my life I realized that I have done almost everything a good ten years after everybody else. Yet ours is really a \"milestone\" society that is in love with precocity.

Books, the web, TV and you name it, all talk about the right age to do something...be it having babies or running a marathon; there is a right age to "do it"
I love going out and meeting people and dropping it into the small talk that I make my own websites because most people do not make their own but have somebody do it for them, which cost them an arm and a leg.
I will say that the first website was not easy (it took me about six months before I could get it up and running) but now I can knock out a website in a day of so, with no sweat.
As far as I can tell the right age to make a website and pull in some money is about twelve; but I am way behind, being 68. But I do realize that there are plenty of people out there my age who are retired and need a bit of income to see them through and what better way then learning a new skill and making a website in a niche of your choosing. Once you have done it once it just gets easier and easier and before you know it you could be earning more money in your retirement then you did in your last job.
All you need is a bit of a lift at the start and away you go.
