Join the crowd. I too was in the same boat you are in and didn\'t know \"squat\" about website design from scratch. With a little help from various sources, I was able to design various profitable websites.

Website design is not as difficult as you may think. It does take a little work and some basic knowledge of HTML code. What is HTML? It is computer language.You can find basic HTML code by completing a search on the internet for sites that offer this service. Basic HTML commands are very nice to know and will help you throughout your process of designing a website.
When designing a website for your internet business you have three choices.
1. You can start learning how to create a profitable website by reading "hard-to-read" manuals and eBooks.
2. Hire a website designer that commands a very high fee to get your website created.
3. Purchase complete "How To" instructional video tutorials that will walk you through step-by-step in designing your website at a fraction of the cost to hire a web designer or less time it takes to read those manuals and Books.
I did all of these before I realized that number three was the easiest for me. I already had Microsoft FrontPage and Adobe Dreamweaver HTML editors loaded on my compute but I really did not know how to use them, the manuals and help was not working.
Therefore, I purchased various video tutorials that walked me through setting up files, creating tables, creating headers, inserting images, inserting hyperlinks, uploading my files to my host server and more. I am a visual person so I needed to see it being done this way.
Another recommendation for those new to website design is use website template. Yes, use FREE website templates. This along with the video tutorials is the easiest and cost effective way in my opinion to design a website.
I do not like to spend a lot of money on designing my websites. I have done that in the past and after learning how to design websites with video tutorials and other resources most were free I don't have to spend hundreds of dollars any longer for what I want my website to accomplish. So far, I have been very successful.
Does it take a little time? Yes, it does at the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it starts getting easier and faster with every new website design.
With website templates the hardest part of the work is has already been completed for you. All you need to do is open the web template in your HTML editor (FrontPage or Dreamweaver) or whatever you are using and fill in your information, save it, upload to your server, and Wah-Lah you have your website live on the internet.
Yes, there are a few steps in between but this is basically the just of designing a website with web templates. You will need to know some HTML code to insert images, change some HTML code already in the templates to reflect your website design but you will get the hang of it after viewing various video tutorials.
Don't give up thinking you cannot design your own website because if I can do it I believe anyone can do it. Website templates and a little knowledge of HTML are a great tools to have for creating a money making website in minutes.
